Recently Nike has revealed Colin Kaepernick as the new face of their campaign. A picture of Kaepernick reading 'Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.' This ad campaign has become one of the most talked about and a successful campaign in recent years. But this campaign did not only help support the NFL superstar, but it has also brought some hate onto Nike.
Since Nike began embracing Colin Kaepernick some fans don't agree with Nike. In response to their campaign fans have burned their Nike product in protest. Many are confused why these people went out to spend their own money on a product, just to end up burning them because of a simple ad campaign. Nike has received many emails from fans that are disgusted by the new face of their product and many say that its 'un-American'.
Colin Kaepernick said in a press conference that "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of colour." and "To me, this is bigger than football, and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder." I believe that from hearing Colin Kaepernick words it has moved Nike to help with his kneel in protest of racial injustice, to help end violence. But to me and maybe many other would say that Nike did not only made Kaepernick the new-face of their product to help end racial injustice, but to also help them profit in money.
In conclusion, since Nike has made Colin Kaepernick the new-face of their campaign it helped him spread his protest around to hopefully end racial injustice and has not at all change my life or affect me at all. Nike is a great product that will continue to grow and take a kneel to what they believe in is right. Even if it means sacrificing everything.

Colin Kaepernick's intention was to end racial injustice. I completely agree with you when you say that Nike is a great product that will continue to grow and take a kneel to what they believe in is right. Personally, I liked what Kaepernick and Nike did. The ad appeared to be motivational and inspiring. But also there was no point for others to burn their Nike shoes and sneakers. What bothers me the most is that people are hating on him even though he was standing up for what's right despite the fact that he decided to take a knee during the national anthem which people found disrespectful. In other words, Kaepernick did the right thing in taking a stand in what he believed in even if it cost him his career.
